Bella Swan just moved to Forks, Washington from Phoenix, Arizona to spend some time with her dad, Charlie. The love story of Edward and Bella continues on the second film in the Twilight saga, New Moon. In New Moon, Edward flees and leaves Bella. To Bella, he seems like he does not care anymore for him to throw their love away just like that. She is extremely upset and devastated with Edward’s departure, and becomes closer to Jacob. Legend has it that vampires and werewolves are enemies for hundreds of years already. Each side can not stand each other. They do not want anybody to step into their own territories. Little they did know that they have been co-inhabiting in this area for some time now. When Jacob learns that he can transform into a werewolf, he and his pack start to hunt for their food. The remains of the animals that they feed on are found by people, which led them to believe that some killer or murderer is on the loose.

In Twilight, we saw that Edward and Jacob did not really like each other. In New Moon, that dislike is still there. They do not want to be near each other, and they are in a rivalry for Bella’s love and attention. Obviously, it is Edward who Bella wants. Jacob is just like a rebound guy, and I pity him for letting Bella treat him like that. Jacob should just take his eyes off Bella and look at the other screaming and giggling ladi 1000 es out there, don’t you agree?

Have you ever awakened at midnight after seeing a horror film? I think you must have. These days horror films are becoming increasingly popular. No one can deny the panicky effect that these films evoke.

The history of horror films can be traced back to the early days of Gothic novels, stories of monsters, vampires and devils. Since the days of "Anglo-Saxon age", there were chivalric romances, stories of ghosts and demons. From then onwards, ghost and devils in weird shadowy shapes that leave an evil effect have been personified in horror films.

If you really like this genre you must be wondering "what is the name of the first horror film?" or "when was the first horror film made?" Let us go through the history of horror films to find the answer.

When was the first horror film made?

Hold your breath and let me answer this. It was a well-known French filmmaker Georges Melies, who made the first horror film. The film was titled as Le Manoir Du Diable (French for: The House of the Devil). It was released in 1896, on Christmas Eve, in Paris. It was a two-minute long film and contained many traditional pantomime elements. This film also depicts a haunted castle and manor of the devil.

Plot of the movie in brief:

The film begins with a bat flying into a medieval castle. The bat circles slowly and transforms into Mephistopheles. Preparing a cauldron, the demon produces skeletons, ghosts, and witches from its bubbling contents. Then, the demon conjures a young girl and some other supernatural elements. When one of these supernatural agents hold up a crucifix, the Satan vanishes immediately.

The element of horror was initiated during the classic age of English literary history.
